These cast iron locknut and adapter sets are supplied to a large manufacturer of ball bearings. The OEM mounts our cast iron parts into the final end product. The OEM product offers a unique method of shaft attachment with these thin wall, tapered, adapter sleeve and locknut sets.
Due to advantages of this system, bearing assemblies may be installed and removed from a shaft easily. 360 degrees of concentric grip on the shaft for the entire length-through-bore of the bearing means the bearing provides a tight press fit with no shaft damage, even on commercial grade shafting.
