Machined Casting Assembly

This precision machined casting is used in the robotics industry. This 1045 steel product features several tight tolerance zones at +/-0.002 and requires the assembly of 16 heavy duty magnets.

There are four through holes that require precision drilling, prior to heat treating. It’s critical that heat treating does not cause warping to these precision drilled holes.
