AmTech Manufacturing Solutions Guide Options

Our Handy solutions guide can help you determine what manufacturing process is right for your project or product.

AmTech OEM supplies impression die forging, closed die forging, net shape and near net shape hot forging services to OEM customers in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
In addition, we supply high volume drop forged parts up to 80 lbs.
AmTech’s forged project expertise includes products such as knuckles, yokes, tie rods, hubs, ball joints, rockers, pilots, control arms, spindles, forged shaft and gear sets.

Hot Forging Equipment

Our Hydraulic Hammers range from 500T – 2,500T press sizes.
Heat treatment equipment consists of three Batch Quench and Tempered Furnaces, two Continuous Normalizing Heat Treatment Furnaces, a Rolling Isothermal Normalizing Furnace and other Middle Frequency Induction Heating Equipment.
Our forging plant lines are optimized for high volume projects. Each line is equipped with CNC stations to supply high quality, machined forgings that hold tight tolerance requirements.

With or Without Flash?

The forged parts can be manufactured with or without flash. The flash is required to manufacture complex shapes and various cross sections. Flash serves as a material flow stop, by reducing the flow of excess material. Forged parts without flash are limited to basic shaped parts – rounded or 2D shapes.

Why Choose AmTech?

AmTech’s OEM customers operate in several large industry sectors: automotive, off-highway, agricultural, sea craft, power transmission and other industries.
The advantages of hot forged parts include: Very Good ductility, Outstanding quality / surface finish, Custom part flexibility and ability to use aluminum or steel material grades. In order to handle increased demand, we are constantly upgrading production capabilities and investing in new, state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure we continue to supply only high quality – precision machined hot forgings.
